Risks and Mitigations
A risk assessment was carried out. The risks were identified and mitigations were put in place
Purchase of Food Parcels
Multiple food wholesalers were visited to try get the best price possible. An invoice was sent was sent to Sheffield with the breakdown of items and the costs. This was then approved and the funds were transferred to our verified and trusted volunteer.
Loading the Food Parcels
The food parcels were then bought and loaded on to a truck to be deliver to the storage.

Identifying The Need
Our volunteers visited an area in the outskirts of Aden. They found many families who had been displaced from their villages and towns as a result of the bombardment. Most families lived in atrocious conditions without access to running water or electricity.
Needs Assessments
A needs assessment was completed for each family in need, to capture their situation.
Approval and Allocation
The needs assessments were sent to Sheffield digitally were they were translated and approved by the Trustees. Each family was then allocated a food parcel depending on the number of household
Sorting & Checking
The food parcel items were then checked and sorted in the storage facility
